My introduction

Hello. I am new to this site and hope that is ok since...umm... surprise...I am not black, ha! I am however only interested in Black men-actually I find that I am mostly drawn to Tall, Bald, Black men. Am not a paid member. I seek a long-term, monogamous relationship.   Have lived in AZ since 1984. Was a Mktg./ Adv Dir. at a resort for a few years then for nearly 20 yrs I was a provider of Hypnotic and Magical Entertainment, which I loved. Those parts of my life are behind me, I am now in a transitional period after having been fulltime caretaker for my elderly mom who passed away. Hopefully I can soon figure out what  to do when I grow up LOL.   I LOVE a personal world, where real people actually answer phones and when the term "screening" meant you were replacing material on a door- ha! I'm creative, sometimes write albeit poetry, short stories, journaling my thoughts/emotions. I love creative people & discussions.   Since I don't do well with impersonal or incomplete communications, I truly must be with someone who does not think it is ok to use texting, emailing etc. as a PRIMARY form of communicating. I want to hear your voice and tone on the phone... I want to see your face. Since I don't abuse alcohol or hang out in bars, I am looking for someone compatible with that, I am more of a 'wine with dinner' type of person.   I want a man who is man enough to be open and honest with me about his thoughts, feelings and actions and who is trustworthy, dependable and such --- since you can count on me to be all those things with you. I must have someone who is good at talking/listening who is willing to share the deepest parts of themselves, someone who can be strong when I am weak and who allows me to nurture and pamper them as well.   I often display a sarcastic type humor, from Cleve, OH originally, so I can be quite direct assertive at times as well. Am Italian by heritage but if you promise not to hold that against me I might even cook you a real Italian dinner. I have nurtured people through food most of my life, so don't be surprised if I bring you a loaf of bread or something, it's the Italian way!   I don't like the heat (go figure I have lived in Phoenix for 27 yrs!), superficiality, rudeness, avoidance, denial, abusers, users, liars. I can't stand someone who takes advantage of or manipulates others for their own gain. Observing my family of origin influenced me dramatically to reach higher and to search deeper to not settle for that type of existence.   Ok now here come what I view as the worst parts about me... I am currently plus-sized (think Oprah size etc.) and I have smoked on and off most of my life. I do want to rid myself of this bad habit in the near future. I hope you won't judge me based on those things since I am so much more than that but if you do then you do. I believe that with the support of a good partner all things are possible!
