After being a member for almost a month, I've decided to take the time to complete my profile. Who am I? First and most importantly, Christ is the head of my life. He is the center of my joy. Often, people get the impression that being a christian women is boring or that your life is full of restrictions.....but this is simply not true. Just know that we are separate, set apart It's only when you've given your life to Christ that you are truly just starting to live life to the fullest!!!! I can honestly say that I am a women of strength....having faced several challenges, and still be able to hold it down. I believe that it's fair to say everyone is not able to do that and still come out on the winning side!!! What is the old saying, "what doesn't kill you, only makes u stronger". I also believe in the Golden Rule" Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you". R-E-S-P-E-C-T is key. I'm going to respect you and I expect you to do the same. I think by each of us following these basic principles we are less likely to experience major issues.:) I'm funny, loving, and compassionate. I can't stand laziness, it drives me crazyy!!!!! What's important for me is for the man in my life to be a born again christian and to be guide by the principles in the word of God. I feel that it is necessary that the my significant other has a good relationship with is mother, for if he honors and respects her, then I am sure that he will not have a problem doing that with me. Family time is essential....and after reading several profiles, a ready made family isn't something that some on this site is interested in...and if this is you, I am not offended, again just respect me and keep it moving, no love lost.:) I'm not like Chili(from TLC) with a whole check list of what she's looking for in a mate. But I am firm in saying that I am NOT INTERESTED IN BEING A FRIEND WITH BENEFITS!!!!!!!!! I know that in God's timing, He will put me on that collision course to meet my Boaz, just as He did Ruth. I still have faith in my Black brothers, I haven't given up on you yet. All men aren't dogs, and all women aren't dogettes!!!! Whatever happened to courtship???? I remember stories of my grandparents courting....and maybe if we follow their example we would be better off.
