Please bear with me as the following is a bit disjointed, but I have been criticised for selling myself short so here goes..........
Easy going, young at heart, loves life, a spiritual but not religious being, does not suffer fools gladly, looking for Miss right, who is witty, assertive, ambitious, reliable and most of all will bring positivity and ingenuity to the table.
I am not looking for a yes woman who thinks everything I do is a good idea, but somebody who can be constructively critical when necessary, yes ladies it is sometimes not what you say but what you do not say that makes the difference.
I would love to meet a problem solver who is not afraid to express themselves in the boardroom or the bedroom.
I have never been comfortable with the words I don't know rather than ' let me find out '
Whilst I am fully aware of my traditional responsibilities as the captain of the ship who takes ultimate responsibility for the well being of the partnership, I also know that a great man will always have a great woman to back him up knowing that she can trust his judgment as it is well earned.
I would much rather discuss ideas than events and most definitely not people, whilst fully recognising that we study the past so we do not trip up in the future.
I do not belong to the 'G' 'init tho' or 'you get me' brigade but I can hold my own amongst the so called 'rude boys' who are really just p***y cats scared of their own shadows; More importantly I am committed to excellence in my daily endeavours and believe if it is worth doing it should be done properly no matter how minor the task at hand.
I believe in the Willie Lynch story and its relevance in our daily lives, and more importantly for all of us in the diaspora we should recognise that the so called slave mentality we seem to shackle ourselves with is one an the same state of mind we suffer back home where it is called ' the colonial mentality' For those of you who have never heard of "Willie Lynch" a cyber search is in order so my politics will become crystal clear. (and yes whilst I have heard and seen all the anecdotal evidence) the principles are very real and touch each and every one of us everyday.
I work hard and play even harder, I consider myself an intrepid traveller who has got the bug baaaad, the world is our oyster and we owe it to ourselves to discover the rich tapestry therein, and as I am a petrol head it is essential that you drive or have a strong desire to do so.
I have impeccable personal hygiene and keep a clean home so fully expect the same from my partner.
Please ladies, if you do not subscribe to most if not all the above guidelines we are probably not meant to be.... But if you are still with me let the good times roll...........
