I'm fiercely independent, sarcastic, silly, clumsy, an early bird and a north shore girl. I love relaxing on the beach or walking around the city. Taking in the MFA or the ICA's latest exhibit. I spend a lot of time working, either at my "day job" or being creative for myself.
I have a few really close friends and a tiny nuclear family who live near and far. I cherish my time alone as well as time in their company.
Couple favorites books are 100 Years of Solitude and Naked. Recent reads include The Devil in the White City, A Visit From the Goon Squad and Tinkers.
I am a lover of jazz, blues, indie, rap, motown, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Aretha, great verve-remixes, musicals—thank you drama-geek-dom—big-b ands with any lady crooning, Latin Soul Syndicate, Bebel Gilberto, Sufjan Stevens, Shins, Mos Def, Bruce Springsteen, Slim Gailard, Iron and Wine, Mary J Blige, PJ Harvey, Arcade Fire, Beck, etc.
I love spicy food and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
