My introduction
Although I live in the DC metro area, I am an original Southern girl. I appreciate the simple things in life. As a filmmaker, I enjoy photography, Black History, great conversations, driving, and relaxing with friends. I love most types of music, especially “oldies” R&B, mostly from the 70’s and 80’s (I'm probably the biggest Anita Baker fan on the East coast!). I love reading books by African-American authors and attending plays and concerts. I continually try to expand my field of knowledge and admit to being somewhat of a techno-geek. I am also an avid supporter of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
I am looking for an equally down-to-earth guy, non-smoker, between 38-49, who is a Christian, compassionate, intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. Looking to make new friends, possibly get to know you better.
I'm looking for a person with whom I just "click" with. I typically know that fairly early on. Conversation just comes naturally; you have many similar interests and usually have a similar background. We are on the same page Spiritually, Intellectually, Emotionally, and Physically. I am also looking for someone to be great friends with first, and then see where things lead. Someone who is fun and spontaneous, can go catch a movie, check out the latest exhibit, or take a walking tour of Georgetown on a whim.
