My introduction

I am British born artistic and individual (with a great British accent!) who has recently immigrated to the USA. I love Washington DC where I live. I have dreadlocked hair, enjoy a good laugh and believe life begins at forty. I am a lover of, old school R n B music, Jazz and classic Reggae Music. My favorite artists are Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Erykah Badu, Mary J Blige, Chaka Khan, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Brian Mcknight and Robin Thicke among others. Loved Robin's track 'Lost without you'. I also love British Soul exports such as Soul2Soul, Beverley Knight and Loose Endz. Loved their track 'Hanging on a String'. I grew up in London in the eighties at the time of 'Lovers Rock' music. Lovers Rock was black British artists singing reggae. Artists such as Janet Kay, Sandra Cross, Caroll Thompson. One of my favorite reggae tracks is called Paradise by Jean Adebambo. Please feel free to Google some of the British artists I mentioned to get a 'feel' of who I am. Music was and remains a great love of mine. I also enjoy Sci -Fi films and TV shows such as Fringe, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Falling skies. I am also an avid Trekkie and Stargate fan but don't worry not in a sad way. I work in Art Facilitation/Media enjoying all aspects of the arts particularly live music and theatre. I am also passionate about, politics, talk radio and have hosted the odd radio show in the UK. I am looking for someone who can appreciate the arts, good music and food.
