My introduction
I’m a small-town girl from New York State who ended up in DC in '73 after living and working in Africa for 6 years. I enjoyed a 23-year career in DC government, doing policy, planning and program evaluation in social services and mental health. I'm still working part-time -- and looking forward to the next 20 years.
Here’s what I love – children, cats and dogs, reading, blues and classical music, Ethiopian and Indian food, edgy humor, my family, beaches, mountains, old movies, bid whist, Curves (exercise), British TV, road trips – and strong men who like strong women.
