My introduction

I consider myself a very down to earth, laid back individual who also stands out in the crowd for just being myself. Having grown up in the heartland of America's wheat belt, I find pleasure in the simple things in life that often go unnoticed and are only truly appreciated by a rare few. I have been told that I don’t have a mean bone in my body and have a heart that is bigger than I am (of course that may not be saying much..since I’m not very big…giggle). I am very open-minded and have even fewer limits…why live a boring predictable life when there is so much yet to try and appreciate and please don’t forget to laugh at least once each day…it really does make a difference. I have been told that I am one of the most unique people that you will ever meet…you decide… I’m a self-proclaimed atypical, over-educated geek who holds two Bachelor degrees and over the course of my career I have had the unique privilege of working in Forensic DNA and crime scene analysis medical research in oncology, hospice and pharmacogenomics. I am an avid book worm and have every intention of writing a novel before I leave this earth, which is not equivalent to getting it published, but the exercise of accomplishing such a task holds its own appeal. But don’t let my being geek fool you or scare you off…I’m not afraid to lose all the societal boundaries, go for it and see where the journey takes us. I believe that ABSOLUTE honesty without judgment and open communication are the foundations to any good relationship from friendship all the way to being a couple. Listen…listen…listen …what any one person has to say really does matter. I find it is completely unnecessary to waste energy being hurtful, calling names or in any way minimizing another individual. As intelligent adults we are all perfectly capable of talking through our differences. ugliness from me. My kids are my number one priority…and that is how it should be for any of us who have the blessing of children
