Only been on your site for 3 weeks
I have only been on your singles website for approximately 3 weeks. However, I've found the love of my life, the person that I've been searching so desperately for. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am. He's a gentleman, a professional, warm, and intelligent. He's loving, poetic, and serenades me with his poetry and his music. What a lovely way the start anew. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. We both are grateful to you forever.

I can never thank BlackSingles.com (formerly Black Singles Connection) enough for the changes that have taken place in my life. I've met the man of my dreams. READ MY STORY BELOW:
THE PROPOSAL......
On October 30, 2005, my sweetie and I were communicating back and forth through email while he is stationed in Ohio. He's a retiring Navy Seal, a man of honor and respect. He sent me some photographs of himself and his Congressional Medal of Honor Commendation. As I clicked on the pictures to view them, I clicked another picture of a diamond ring. He called later and asked me did I get my email. I told him yes I did and congratulated him on his commendation and told him how proud I was of him. He asked "How did you like the ring?" I said, "That's a beautiful ring and it's very nice that it was given to you for your retirement." His response was "That's not my ring." My reply was "Who's ring is it?" He said, "It's yours, honey, I bought it yesterday. Will you marry me?" I almost dropped the phone, speechless, studdering and couldn't think of a thing to say but "Yes".
My future husband has defended his country with his life for more than 20 years. He's intelligent, has a bachelor's degree, plays the piano, writes poetry, and speaks two foreign languages. He's got a heart of gold and a personality to go along with it. I am truly blessed to have him in my life.
