Lifetime romance
Two months ago I started using this site just out of curiosity to see what type of people I would meet. I have long been out of the dating scene and wanted to try something new. I got a lot of cards and smiles that were very flattering. Then last week I found my king. About 3 weeks ago I started to receive a profile from STEVEO66. He would send his profile to me twice a week along with smiles. I just let them builde up in my contact list without responding. Then on March 14, 2007, I found that we were both on line and the day before he had sent me his profile again. This time I took the time to read his profile. I mean really read his profile and I sent him an IM. We chatted all morning and he asked me for my phone number when I was responding to a previous questions. I ended up giving him my # which I did not intend to do. We made plans to have a phone conversation the next day at 12:15pm and he did not call, but that night right after dinner he called me. I was so surprised. Since that day we have talked each day for hour and hours. He sends me cards and smiles and I do the same.
We have found that we have so much in common the only thing is there is about 1000 miles between us. He livges in INdiana and I live in Texas. We have made plans to see each other next month and we have even talked about getting married. It may seem too soon to most, but we have so much in common and are on the same level that when we converse we finish each others sentences.
Thank you blacksingles for helping me find my king. He has made me so happy and he is what I have been looking for all my life. He has a heart and a way with words. He has spoken to my children and now they ask to speak to him when he calls. It looks like the hope I was beginning to lose of ever finding my soulmate has been changed. He makes me smile and laugh which is something I have not done in a very long time.
Looks like we will probably be married by this time next year. He is going to relocate to TX and has already agreed to and extended engagement. We will be seeing each other in 5 weeks and once I hold him in my arms I already know I am never going to let him go.
I thought men like him no longer existed. Thank you for helping me find him and we will keep you updated on our lifetime romance.
