I had only been on BlackSingles for about a week, when I came across a picture on a profile that stopped me in my tracks. It was just something about his smile that seemed to be at me...So I sent him a smile. I'm not sure how we began our conversations, but not long after I called him, of course blocking out my number,(wasn't very sure about this internet dating thing), we talked and then I gave him my number. He called me again the next day, and to make a longer story longer, I went to New York for the first time ever in my 39 years of life to meet the man I had been falling in love with over the phone. It was the best decision I ever made in my life. A few days later, he traveled to Alabama. There has not been a day that we have not spoken and we are madly in love.
