With God's favor, we are happy and in LOVE.
Willie and I met on BlackSingles April 19, 2006. We have been inseparable ever since. Willie proposed to me on April 19, 2007 and we stood before God, family, and friends on April 19,2008 to become as one. It is truly a blessing to see how God creates LOVE between a man and a women. Never in my wildest dreams had I ever conceived or believed that I would find the love of my life, my soulmate, via your site BlackSingles.com.
It would be selfish and remiss of me if I dare not share the BlackSingles gospel, since I have become a believer.(Smile)
It was in May of 2007 when I first joined your site. After a couple conversations with others, which did not work out, I felt this was not the way to meet someone. So I decided to delete my profile. After a few days, I checked my personal e-mail account and I had mail waiting from Blacksingles, the messages were from Blackpoet43. I decided initially to ignore the cards, but after reading them, I reactivated my account the following day and I saw that Blackpoet43 was on-line. I instant messaged him and we started chatting. Our connection was instant, we connected in a way that difficult for me to capture in words. I couldn't believe that it was possible to feel so connected to someone via this medium.
We started emailing and telephoning each other daily and our love started to grow. He wrote poems to be daily. These were magical sentiments of our love and God's continuous blessings on our lives.
In August of 2007, we decided it was time to meet. I traveled from UK to the Caribbean. We spent one week in Barbados and one in St. Lucia. Those memorable days only helped to irrigate and fertilize our wonderful relationship. Since meeting this truly wonderful man, my life has changed tremendously. We both have become a source of strength, comfort and support to each other. He is so caring, loving, and truly a man of God's purpose. He's a dream come true.
A few weeks after my return to the UK, Blackpoet43 came to visit me and our relationship has blossomed and bloomed and has grown from strength to strength.
Though the distance has been changing at times, we have maintained our relationship with prayers, trusting in the strength of our love, and by having faith in God knowing that through him, all things are possible.
He has just arrived in the UK.

Hi, I am Moneque. I have been on BlackSingles since 2006 and through 2007, but nothing was happening for me. Yes, I made friends and would send friendly smiles and cards and very rarely chat, but never was there one for me. I then decided that seeing that love was not happening, that I would just make friends. I was a bit sad and I had stopped my subscription.
So one day in 2007, I was just checking my mail and sending my usual smiles and cards and I got a pop up, browneyes6811 was inviting me to chat. I closed off the box and was trying to get out of BlackSingles before he kept on, and he popped up again. I decided to view his profile quickly and started to chat with him. From that very moment, I started chatting through BlackSingles; I was really interested. I guess something just sparked. I took a huge chance and gave him my cell phone number. He called me and we started to chat on the phone. When I heard his voice, I screamed excitedly. His voice really warmed my heart. Our chats on the phone became everyday and we exchanged email addresses and instant message addresses. The conversations got more interesting and feelings grew quickly because we both knew what we wanted. It is so funny, we actually share the same birthday, November 13th. He is in the states and I am in Trinidad. After starting a long distance relationship, we decided we will finally meet and take our relationship to another level.. He hopped on a plane and came to see me. The feeling in the airport was overwhelming. The love we have for each other was touching the sky. We drove home and just could not get enough of each other. We hugged and cuddled the whole night and the whole time we were together. We celebrate our anniversary on the 3rd of each month and on the 3rd of March was our anniversary and when we woke up in the morning, he did not say happy anniversary. So after not saying anything for a few hours, I asked him if he forgot and he looked at me so lovingly and smiled and said he will never forget, but later will be much better. So I thought we were going out to dinner to celebrate, but that night we got into the shower and as he was standing behind me, started to wash my left hand. I just kept on brushing my teeth and then really quickly he slipped the most beautiful ring on my finger and said, "I love you so much and I can't stand not having you in my life forever. Would you marry me"? With the shock, I almost swallowed my toothbrush, but it was all good. So thanks to god and BlackSingles, browneyes6811 and I are now engaged and are soon going to be married. We are going to buy our home and start our wonderful life as husband and wife with our kids.....Thank you BlackSingles for making this possible... We love you!

I have met someone who I can take the long walk with.
His Story:
From the moment giftedms and donken started talking, it was an instant attraction. We had so many things in common. We both knew what we were looking for, we both met and went out with people on BSC previously. However on the fateful day, she instant messaged me as I was leaving my office and we decided to continue later that evening and haven't stopped talking since. Since she lived in another state, I was a little reluctant, but decided to continue and eventually meet her. Well the story goes fairytale from there. We met for a few hours and that continued and then we decided to give each other a try and see what happens. Well, we started spending weekends together and then we talked and came to the conclusion that we wanted to be with each other...so the story goes. I relocated and we moved in together and we are talking about marriage within a year. I have met someone who I can take the long walk with. Someone who has come into my life and who has my back and I have hers. I would lay my soul on the line for my beautiful QUEEN. We are going to survive all things that may come. Thanks Black singles! Without you, we would never have met.

My username is Giftedms and after being on your site too long, I remained patient and optimistic. Even when the matches were comical at best, it was a process. In September 2007, I sent an instant message to Donken (screen name) and he answered. We chatted briefly, but it was moving too slow and he had to log off. Well Tasha, this is where patience and the belief in God's abundant promises come in. That night when I was not going to honor my word to call, I did... and that night we spoke and we met the next month. Fast forward and at the risk of sounding cliches', I will just quote India Arie "Cause he is the truth said he is so real and I love the way that he makes me feel and if I am a reflection of him then I must be fly because his light it shines so bright I wouldn't lie".
Well as we continue to learn and explore and take this long walk together, we now live together, are engaged, and are actively planning our June 2009 wedding. Now, my king is patient, kind, loving, and god-fearing, not because I want him to know God, but he has his own relationship with god, his family, and his friends.
Well to sum it up...In another life, I must have been his husband and he my wife. Now if that is too deep for most of you...well, keep on living, just keep on living. Thank you BSC!

We are so much in love...
I met hydntreasure here on BlackSingles around July 2007. I was quite sure she wasn't going to accept my IM request because of our age difference and distance. I'm 24 and live in Tennessee, while she's 30 and lives in California. I liked her profile plus she was pretty. She did though and we talked for a long time. I eventually asked for her number and she gave it to me. I was surprised by that too. LOL. From that moment on we talked practically everyday and built a good friendship. It was as if we had known each other for a very long time, and we were just catching up on old times. It was crazy!!! We talked about everything under the sun. I must admit that I met other women on this site, but it was something about her that told me to hang onto her. Well things started to get serious and we eventually discussed about a possible meeting after talking on the phone and emailing each other for several months. She finally got some time off from work and we saw each other for the first time on January 17, 2008. When we first kissed it was so magical. I was flabbergasted!!! We had the most wonderful time. There wasn't a dull moment at all. Sitting there looking into her eyes and feeling her beautiful skin, I knew I loved this women and that she was the one. On the day of her departure, we both got a little emotional because we didn't want to let each other go and wake up from this sweet, romantic fantasy. I am planning to take some time off in late March to see her. We are so much in love and I thank BlackSingles.com and the grace of God for letting us get to meet and be blessed. We are already discussing possibly a future together and relocating. Thanks BlackSingles once again.
