I finally met the man of my dreams here on Black Singles!
I finally met the man of my dreams right here on Black Singles! It all started in March of 2008 with a spark. We kept sending notes, then we exchanged numbers. By the way, I am "Babychanel" and my man is "Williedo". He lived in Austin, Texas and I lived in Sacramento, California. I flew to Austin to meet him in May. We talked for hours and hours on the phone. He came to Sacramento, California in July. We talked for hours and hours on the phone. I flew out to Austin in August, he took me to visit the Alamo in San Antonio. This is when he popped the question, "will you marry me?" I said, "yes." We were married November 1st in Austin. I moved to Austin. We are very happy!

We just wanted to tell you that “BlackSingles.com” is the greatest web-site on the Internet.
It led me to my beautiful Wife and Soul Mate!
Me, SDE123, was on BS for about a year and was just about ready to throw in the towel. I met a few people, but nothing serious. Then I noticed that Selena1 had read my profile. I sent her a smile. It was something about her profile that caught my attention. I joined back up as a full member just so I could respond to that one particular e-mail she sent me.
Selena1 was new to the site, only a couple of weeks. She was getting hundreds and hundreds of hits, go figure. But she said when she saw my
pictures, she kept going back to it. She said it was very strange for her to react in this fashion. She later told me that it was something about
my eyes and it was love at first site. Believe it or not.
I thought she was pretty and all, but I thought her pictures were outdated. So we started corresponding through BlackSingles. I was requesting more pictures and she was giving me her phone number. Ouch! Lol. The more we talked, the
closer we got. So we met and dated.
When I first saw her in person, my heart skipped a beat. IT WAS ON!!! The chemistry was there. She was so beautiful. We have so much in common until we built a spreadsheet...unbelievable! We
get along great and love each other very much. We have a lot of fun together and everything is an adventure. We could not stand to be apart any longer. We fell in love. We were married on 10/11/08; One year from our first date. Our honeymoon was off the chain.
I thank God for using BlackSingles to be the instrument that brought us together.

"One Sunday Morning"
It was a Sunday Morning, birds singing, butterflies dancing, a beautiful
day, a day about to unravel in the sweetest of ways, that only the dear Lord knew. Like most of us in this electronic age, we check our mail in
passing, check the weather or just the sake of checking something on the internet. For me... it was the mail. What's this I have here, an alert, possible matches and pictures too! Who is this
lady, do I care to greet, do I have time church service draws near, scrambling I log on to the site oh what else do we have here. Sending her a text, guess what she is online! Will she answer or will she decline? As fate would have it, she did answer, a brief exchange as I had to run
off to church, but not before I threw her all my digits. I was not playing....(Ignite_Me)
Well I usually wouldn't respond to IM initially from guys on line; this is phenomenal because I
had closed out my account with another online dating service, and forgot about this one. I was checking my mail and realized that I was
still getting matches; so because it was early Sunday morning I had time on my hand before church just to check out who was sending me
messages. Now I was never matched to Carl as he was matched to me. So by chance we were online at the same time even though I wasn't aware until he IMed me. Well before I responded to him I checked out his profile..hmmm....interesting, and his pic was easy on my eyes LOL. When the IM popped up requesting to chat surprisingly I said yes, and the online dialogue began. Like Carl stated he was in the process of running off to church...so after a brief chat he gave me his number (bold
isn't he)and of course I scribbled them down. After church I wasted no time calling him (out of curiosity, hee! hee!) Shucks!!! I got his voice mail so I left a message. He called me late afternoon...now when I heard his voice I was trying to put it together with his pic; quite
unique. Anyway, needless to say we talked for long while that Sunday and the days to come until
our first meeting on February 14th, 2008! And, the happily ever after is: after a few months of dating, he proposed to me on my birthday August 14th, and we are getting married in March of 2009. The End, no The Beginning!!!!

Two journeys that became as one
I want to first thank my Heavenly Father for bringing Phillip and I together. Because with out HIM, we would have not met. We both had been in not so happy relationships and we both agreed that in order to have a true solid relationship, we would have to put and keep God First!
On March 31, 2007, our paths crossed. After two weeks of cards, sparks and long talks over the phone, we had our first date. It was a picnic at the lake and it was perfect. As we watched the sunset and listened to oldies, we had such a great time together. Who would have known what God would be up to next. As time had gone by, we asked many questions and found out more and more what we shared in common. We were far apart, but inseparable. On the weekends we would travel back and forth spending time together and attending each others church. As we prayed about our relationship, we listened to God and were engaged on Mothers Day. God had the final say and on September 6, 2008 we made our vow before God, family, and friends! We share a union that is built on faith, commitment and love. And now we are "Sharing our lives together as one"

The connection was so natural and the timing was perfect.
We started corresponding in July of 2007. Truckturner55 did not have a picture with his profile, so I did not pay much attention to his smiles at first. He was very persistent and caught my attention. We communicated via e-mail at first and later by phone. We planned a date and I canceled at the last minute. Five months later, we caught up with each other and went out on our first date. The connection was so natural and the timing was perfect. We are getting married July 4, 2009.
